This year we've got another gem from the far Western region of Huehuetenango - Finca La Florida. The farmer's name is Romelia Sánchez Gómez, and her farm consists around 8 hectares of coffee comprising Caturra and San Ramón varieties.

Coffees from Huehuetenango (pronounced "way-way-ten-an-go" - often affectionately referred to as "way-way") tend to have a distinctive dark fruity character.

La Florida is a beautiful coffee resulting from a producer dedicated to ensuring quality. It is bright and sweet, with layers of soft chocolate and raisin, and a delicate citrusy character.
