Colombia Herminson Cardenas

Grown by Herminson at Finca El Filo. This coffee was carefully hand-picked
in order to use only the ripest cherries. The cherries were then Pulped
and later fermented for 27 hours under water. The coffee was then gently
washed and placed on raised beds for 12 days until ideal moisture
content was achieved.
Herminson was born and raised in Planadas, Tolima. Ever since Herminson
was a young boy, he was passionate about football and wanted to
become a professional player. But after he finished school, Herminson
decided to join his father Mauricio on their farm. Once Herminson got
involved in the farm, the improvements in production and quality have
been clearly evident. In 2018, Herminson was able to certify his farm as
Organic, and since 2019 Herminson has been solely focused on improving
the quality of his coffee.
