"The journey of Gil Cesar de Melo in the coffee industry traces back to his grandfather, Sr. Miguel Constante, a coffee grower in the township of Campos Altos. That legacy was passed down to Gil’s mother, Elizena, who instilled in him the same deep-rooted passion for coffee. Inspired by his family’s heritage, Gil embraced coffee farming wholeheartedly.
In 1995, he planted his first six hectares of coffee. Since then, he’s steadily expanded his farm, always driven by a commitment to quality. Today, his farm — Espigão do Palmital — is nestled in Pratinha, within the renowned Cerrado Mineiro region of Minas Gerais. This area is known for its ideal coffee-growing conditions: high altitudes, consistent rainfall, and a climate defined by hot, humid summers and mild, dry winters"
