Steamfest 2012, Sheffield, 10th-12th March

Steamfest 2012 is on its way!

Held every year in Sheffield, Tasmania, Steamfest is a seriously fun 3 day event put on by the Redwater Creek Steam & Heritage Society.

We’ll be there again to supply the always thirsty Steamfest crowd! We’ll have some delicious new coffees arriving just in time so we’ll be launching our new Autumn Blend that weekend.

When: Sat 10th to Mon 12th March. Opens 9:30am each morning.

Where: Sheffield, Tasmania. Just over an hour north-west of Launceston

How much: $15 (adult) / $5 (kids) / $30 (family) / $10 (pensioners)

Two Hands Coffee cart update

The Two Hands Coffee cart is a social enterprise aiming to give young people experience preparing and serving coffee.

You may recall that the project began in February with an 10-week trial, culminating in a National Youth Week event in Hobart. Everyone responded very positively to the cart’s presence in Civic Square and the project was enthusiastically renewed by the Launceston City Council.

The cart now operates 8:30am-2:30pm, and we’ve extended it to 5 days a week to keep our growing band of regulars happy! Keep reading…

Steamfest 2011 is on its way!

Held every year in Sheffield, Tasmania, Steamfest is a fun-filled 3 days put on by the Redwater Creek Steam & Heritage Society.

We’ll be there with our coffee cart (espresso machines are steam-powered too!), so come along and grab a coffee. The Summer blend is drinking beautifully at the moment!

When: Sat 12th to Mon 14th March, 2011. Opens 9:30am each morning.
